I use this page mostly to support my scholarly research and publications. They aim to the intersections of history, politics and culture within narratives of transition from Colonialism to Modernity in Latin America. My current research focuses on early 19th Century Latin American writings dealing with the consolidation of postcolonial states through ethnic, social, and urban cleansing. I am also on the early stages of a project on imaginaries of Globalization and Modernity in a corpus of Ibero-American economic texts from the last decade of the 18th century.
