&nbs= p; The 692nd meeting of the Helminthological Society of Washington will be held at=
College in
&nbs= p; This year’s meeting will include a reception and keynote address by Dr. Da= rwin Murrell entitled “Sushi Surprise: Fishborne Flukes” on Friday night. A plenary session of oral and poster presentations will be held on Saturday. = In addition, this meeting will include a student competition. The recipient of= the best student presentation will receive $200 and the runner-up will receive $10= 0. Two honorable mention awards of one year’s membership to the Helminthological Society of Washington will also be given. Students who wis= h to be considered for the awards must so indicate on the enclosed registration form. For those who desire to stay in the area overnight, a short list of hotels/motels is attached.

Please show your support fo= r your society and your discipline by attending and participating in our meeting o= n May 5th and 6th. <= /span>Please fill out the attached registration form and send it by email to Dr. Michael Barger (mbarger@oak= mail.peru.edu) by Monday, April 17, and mail a check made out to The Helminthological Society of Washington to him at the Department of Natural Science, 600 Hoyt Street, Peru State College, Peru, Nebraska 68421-= 0010. If you are not presenting but plan to attend, please email Dr. Barger before April 17th so we can have an idea about how many people w= ill attend. You may pay the registration fee of $25 upon arrival.
