Directions and security procedures:

Exit the Beltway at Exit 25 US Route 1/Baltimore Blvd. North in the direction of Beltsville.

Get into the left lane on Route 1 North, but take care not to get into the two quickly appearing left lanes that turn into the Ikea development.

After the Ikea lanes turn off, get into the far left turn lane for the traffic signal at South Drive.  (This will be opposite from the 14-story National Agricultural Library.)  Turn left onto South Drive.

At the South Drive entrance, you will be confronted by an open gate.

You may also be confronted by a parked security officer expecting visitors.  If so, inform the guard that you are attending the Helminthological Society meeting in Building 011A, and that you will obtain your visitor's badge at 011A.  He will let you pass.

Make a right turn at the second intersection, onto First Street. This will be at the first stop sign.

In a couple of blocks, turn left onto North Drive.

After turning, the Bioscience Building, Building 011A, will be visible down the hill on the right.  It looks like a brick fortress, with narrow, slit-like windows.  Park in the large lot outside the building. Walk up the main stairs and someone perched by the front door will let you in and give you a visitor's pass.

Note that the gate will be locked at 8:00, but a guard will open it to allow you to leave.
