Physics 462: Independent Study in Physics and Astronomy. Experimental or theoretical investigation of a research-level problem selected by the student in consultation with a faculty member. An interested student should arrange for supervision by the end of her/his junior year. Open only to second semester senior physics majors. Results of the investigation are presented in a Department colloquium.
