Lab Director -

Kevin D. Wilson, PhD
     Dr. Wilson completed his PhD in Experimental Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania with Dr. Martha J. Farah and a post-doctoral research fellowship with Dr. George R. Mangun at Duke University before coming to Gettysburg College. His research combines functional brain imaging (fMRI) with more traditional behavioral measures to study higher level visual cognition, including visual attention and object recognition. He currently teaches Introductory Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience, and the Advanced Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory course. Dr. Wilson also serves as co-coordinator of the recently implemented Neuroscience minor.

Research Assistants -

James Taylor ('09)
     James has worked in the Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory since the Spring of 2006. He is involved in several projects examining object-based visual attention, rotated object recognition, and reference frame effects in metaphor processing.





Maggie Mintus ('10)
     Maggie joined the Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory in the Fall of 2008. She is currently involved in a project investigating hormonal influences on mental rotation and object recognition.
