CRAGI

CRAGI stands for Conflict Resolution and Global Interdependence. We
are a group of citizens and educators at all levels, based in Gettysburg,
Pennsylvania (home of Gettysburg College). Many of us have lived through conflict or for extended periods in third world
countries, and some of us specialize in teaching about other parts of the
world. All of us are deeply committed to creating a more
peaceful global community. Although we came together originally around the
vision of an International Peace Curriculum, we have also continued to act
locally to reduce conflict in schools and community settings. Contacts with
UNICEF, UNESCO, INCORE, the Carter Center, and IPRA have been initiated as
part of our
strategy to weave an educational thread that will be used around the world
to teach skills of conflict resolution, prejudice reduction, and peaceful
co-existence.
