Web Search and Evaluation
(individual)

Due: February 8

In his step, you will search for and evaluate web sites relevant to your group's portion of the course project. On this date, you will turn in an evaluation of 5 of those web sites. For each of the five web sites, you should provide the following:

Initial Bibliography
(individual)

Due: February 22

In this step, you will turn in a preliminary bibliography of 20 print resources relevant to your group's portion of the course project. The bibliography should be typed and in standard bibliographic format. It should include both books and articles from scholarly journals (a minimum of 5 of each). As a general rule, articles from newspapers and popular magazines are not appropriate and should not be included. (However, you may see me individually if you want to argue for an exception to this prohibition.)

Annotated Web Links
(individual)

Due: March 7

For this step, you should select 5-8 web sites that you think are appropriate for linking to the course web-based resource. This step must be in HTML format, and must be submitted electronically. It should include the following:

Annotated Bibliography
(individual)

Due: April 4

For this step, you should select 10-15 print resources that you think are appropriate to include in the course web-based resource. These should be arranged in alphabetical order, by name of author. For each of these bibliography items, you should include the following:

Rough Draft of Web Page
(group)

Due: April 18

For this step, each project group will produce a draft web page for its portion of the class project, and will present that web page to the class. Each page will be based on a standard template and should include the following:

Polished Draft of Web Page
(group)

Due: May 2

For this step, each project group will use the critique and suggestions provided during the class presentation of their rough draft on April 18 to produce a complete, polished web page that is a comprehensive overview of and gateway to feminist analyses of women as mothers. These pages will be presented in class on May 2 (the last day of class).

Finished Web Page for Publication
(group)

Due: May 6

On this date (the day assigned for the final exam in this course), each project group will turn in its finished web page for publication. All errors identified during the class presentation on May 2 should have been eliminated from this draft, and all revisions must be complete. The finished page should be as close to perfection as humanly possible and ready to be published to the World Wide Web.
