Caleb Baker, "Sloth" and musician
Caleb "Spicoli" Baker is a senior from Wellesley, MA. He will be playing the role of Sloth and is always sound as a pound with some tasty waves and a cool buzz.

Lauren Barrett, "Demona"
Lauren is a junior, English major and Environmental Studies minor. She is a member of Peace Club and a GRAB facilitator for the Department of Experiential Education. Before beginning work on "Fast Times at Morality High" as the character, Demona, she spent 10 days in mountain isolation, contemplating life without sins. She is delighted to be living in sin again, and happy to play the role in this year's Medieval Drama performance. Basically, life without being a bad ass is no life at all.

Amy E. Butcher, "Industry"
Amy Butcher is a junior at Gettysburg College double-majoring in Creative Writing and English. She recently studied abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France, and aspires to be a Creative Writing professor and free-lance writer when she is older. She likes spicy ethnic food, writing, decorating cupcakes and her Jack Russell terrier, Scarlet.

Jessica Cameron, "Pride"
Jessica is a hardheaded college student dedicated to learning and having fun. She has recovered remarkably well from briefly being kidnapped by flying lemurs as a child, and has since tried to promote human-lemur relations so that these types of situations are avoided. Her plans for the future include someday taking a warm milk bath, and finding a job where she doesn’t have to be too serious.

Justin Causey, "Wrath" and a director
Justin Causey is a History Major with Minors in Classics and Civil War Era Studies in the class of 2009. He emerged of unknown origin in 1807 and carved out a hundred square mile plantation in Yoknapatawpha County, Mississippi in an attempt to found a self-made dynasty. Thwarted by his own dark past and moral depravity...oh wait, that's Thomas Supten... Anyhow, Justin does alot of theatre and talks alot about literature as deeply involved hobbies/addictions, probably to the detriment of own eventual goals of graduate school in History and/or some form of gainful employment.

Monica Charpentier, "Backbiter"
Monica is a senior Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and English double major (crazy idea, yes) from Baltimore. She enjoys trying out a wide variety of ethnic foods and biking around campus in heels and a miniskirt. She is planning on a career as a professional student, and will enjoy giving mice cancer this summer before entering grad (and med) school.

Jessica Ernst, "Abstinence" and "Ms. Mercy"
Jess is an English and Theatre Arts double major who was thrilled at the prospect of adding The Castle of Perseverance to her theatrical repertoire this semester. Her other current projects include directing Beat Generation and stage managing I Love You Because, which can both be seen in Stevens Theatre. This summer, Jess will be interning at the New Repertory Theatre in Watertown, MA, in the hopes of being a slightly-less-starving artist when she graduates in 2009.

Professor C. Dick Fee, professor
C. Dick Fee has spent his entire career trying to channel the spirit of Mr. Hand from "Fast Times at Ridgemont High," and he is delighted to have the opportunity to do so in a public performance, particularly because it means he can have a go at Gettysburg's own "Spicoli," Caleb Baker, who needs a good smack, anyway. Fee began his stage career as the Troll King in "Peer Gynt," which shows in more ways than one, and he still cannot abide the sound of church bells. Fee also portrayed "Anger" in a gathering of the Seven Deadly Sins many years ago, but then, that's none of your damn business!

Ian Forster, "Vice Principal Death"
Ian was born in 1986, invented the question in 1987, became a quarterback of the Frankfurt in 1988-1995, co-wrote the play A Troll in Central Park in 1997 and became star of the Encyclopedia Britannica in 1998-2007. His favorite color is wood and his favorite underwater animal is a swan. Ian lives by the motto, "If you begin with the number 2, then add 7, then take the square root of half of three times that sum, how many apples do you have left?"

Sara Maria Harenchar, "Greed"
Sara is an English major, with three minors in Writing, Peace & Justice Studies, and Philosophy. She is a Program Coordinator for Immersion Projects at the Center for Public Service, and designed her own spring break project in Chicago this year. This year, Sara is working as a Teaching Assistant for Suzanne Flynn’s English 120 course, which includes community service with Survivors, Inc. in Gettysburg. Sara is a proud member of the college’s only co-ed acapella group, Four Scores. Sara has also done community service in Kentucky, Washington D.C., West Virginia, Fayette County, and New Orleans. This summer she will be studying abroad in Bath, England, as well as traveling to Beijing, China to work in orphanages. Sara, who firmly believes in the idea of retail therapy, is thrilled to be playing the role of Greed in “Fast Times at Morality High.”

Kelsey Lamagdeleine, "Lust"
Kelsey is a junior English major/education minor and frequent denizen of the theatre. Though she is, to paraphrase Malcolm Reynolds, a fan of all seven vices, Lust is by far her favorite. Her main sources of inspiration for the role are Britney Spears and Jessica Rabbit. (They're not bad, they're just drawn that way.) Kelsey would like to thank the media for obsessively propagating the virgin/whore dichotomy, because how else would we stay in touch with our medieval roots?

Maggie Langtry, "Temperance" and "Mrs. Right"
Maggie is an English major and Film minor from Yardley, Pennsylvania. She loves food and friends and movies.

Becca Lausch, "Conscience"
Becca is a sophomore here at Gettysburg from Reading, PA. She came into college with the intent of pursuing a nice practical career in nursing, which inevitably led to her declaring a double major in English and Theatre Arts --the two most useless degrees around so the joke goes. Cardboard box donations welcome for anyone who would like to show support for her future housing needs. She enjoys keeping busy on campus with dance, theatre, and cooking/setting things on fire in the kitchen. She looks forward to studying abroad in Bath, England next semester and promises she doesn't bite.

Bridget McElroy, "Angel"
Bridget is a senior majoring in Philosophy and English and minoring in Writing, and is a member of the College's Cross Country and Track & Field team. She will be making her acting debut in "The Castle of Perseverance," playing the role of Angel. She has secured a work Visa and post graduation will be living in Ireland--quite possibly jobless and homeless---and she couldn't be happier.

John McMenamin, "Manny Mizzou"
John majors in English and minors in Economics. When he is not being virtuous, he enjoys being a glutton at Servo (especially Servo brunch). His favorite weekend activity is karaoke at Mama V's, where he is working on his American Idol audition for a future season of the show.

Stephanie Peirce, "Chastity" and musician
Stephanie is an English major from Dresher, Pennsylvania. She had read the play ahead of time and considered the role of Chastity to really be a dream part. It was this part that sparked her interest in Cheerleading and she quickly tried out for the College team. In a large upset, she was named Captain and lead the squad through a difficult season as she found out they'd been stealing routines from Dickinson for years and would now face them in competition. She knew immediately that she would need to start from the beginning. In this drama-filled season anything could happen and although her team only came in second, she knew they'd really brought it on. Again, all or nothing, cause they were in it to win it...okay now she's just making herself (and everyone else!) sick.

Megan Rodella, "Meekness" and "Mrs. Truth"
Megan is a senior majoring in Psychology with a minor in English Literature from Pittsburgh, PA. Prior to her participation in this production, she was planning on taking a year or two to work before attending graduate school. However, she has since found that her true calling lies in the sport of cheerleading and will now be pursuing a career in the protection of spirit fingers.

Laura Rogers, peer learning assistant
Laura has the distinction of being the Peer Learning Assistant for the Spring 2008 Medieval Drama class due to the unexceptional fact that she is now the last metriculating human being on the Gettysburg College campus who has taken the course. She made GC Medieval Drama history back in the Spring of 2005 as Soldier #4 in the York Crucifixion of Christ. It was a wonderfully fun experience as a first year student which she is now happy to be re-living vicariously through her peers as a senior.

Emily Simmons, "Patience"
Emily is an English major with an Africana Studies minor from Boxford, Massachusetts. She enjoys long walks on the beach, picnics at sunset, and tall, dark men. She dedicates her performance to her cat Bosley and Noel, her three-year-old best friend.

Danny Strein, "Folly"
Danny is a junior English major from Bellerose, New York. He is currently trying to finish his writing and studio art minors. He runs for the Gettysburg College cross county and track and field teams and suffers from stage fright. So don't be surprised if you see him running off stage.

Angela Weininger, "Charity"
Angela is a senior English major and is one of the writers of "Fast Times at Morality High." She decided to set the play in the eighties to justify her continued obsessions with jellies, puffy paint, and Bon Jovi. She has been a member of the Dance Ensemble for the past four years and is therefore no stranger to the stage; however, "Morality High" is her first play, and she is enjoying the opportunity to actually speak in front of an audience.
