St. Juliot's Church, Cornwall

St. Juliot's Church, which served as the model for East Endelstow church in Hardy's third novel, A Pair of Blue Eyes, held a special place in Hardy's heart, for it was his restoration work here which brought him to Cornwall and the woman who would become his first wife, Emma Lavinia Gifford.
